Skin Treatment

Our skin is the reflection of our health and vitality, physical, mental and emotional wellness. A radiant and glowing skin indicates good health, positive attitude and vibrates self-confidence.

The first thing you should know before caring the skin is to know which type of skin you have.

There are five kinds of skin:

*** Normal skin

*** Oily or greasy skin

*** Dry skin

*** Sensitive skin

*** Combinational skin

Basic Facial Scrub Mix

1/2 cup finely ground oatmeal
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tablespoon of powdered cinnamon

Combine the ingredients in an airtight jar.
When you want to make a facial scrub, just add 2 teaspoons of the mix to a bowl and add enough of a wet ingredient to make a paste.
Good examples of wet ingredients are; egg yolk, fruit, honey, yoghurt or milk.
You could use one wet ingredient or a combination such as banana and yoghurt.
Apply the scrub to a damp face and gently massage into the skin in upward circular motions. Thoroughly rinse off with warm water and a cloth.

Protecting your skin is equally as important as cleansing it

Citrus Freshener

Offer this spritzer to your guest to refresh after or instead of their facial.

2 cups boiling water
1 vitamin C (a preservative)
Lemon peel (zest) from 2 lemons

Dissolve the vitamin in water. In a glass bowl put the lemon zest and pour the water over them. Let it sit over night. Remove the zest and put in a spray bottle. You can use any type of citrus peel.
